Submission of papers/presentations before the conference

According to the Call for Paper and the traditions of this conference, (at least) a short paper with a minimum of 2000 words or a very detailed presentation of the paper must be submitted (you can choose between paper or presentation). These papers/presentation will be shared with all delegates prior to the conference with an intention to save time on presentations and dedicate more time for debate and discussion. This is a requirement for all the presenters of the conference.
The file won't be circulated outside of the conference participants.

Please, note that if you choose to submit a presentation, it should present your paper in a detailed way in order to help the others understand your arguments. A simple power point presentation that usually accompanies (!) the oral presentations is not enough. The goal of the previous circulation of these papers/presentations is that delegates know your research/arguments/points... before your presentation at the conference. So please, prepare your work having in mind this aim. If your paper or presentation does not meet this requirement, the organisers might send it back to you for re-submission with some suggestions of changes.

The papers or presentations (possibly in pdf format with annexes) should be sent to the conference email address: rethinkingethnographybp@gmail.com by 15 May. If you cannot meet the deadline, please, contact the organisers.

Venue of the conference

Eventually, the venue of the conference will be right at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Eötvös Loránd University.
The building of the Faculty is in the heart of Budapest: in the Jewish District surrounded by historic monuments, bars and good accommodation opportunities.
